Managing Pioneers into Practice –exchange programme in Helsinki-Uusimaa region in 2017-2020, and developing business models for the continuation of the programme in 2017, Climate-KIC Knowledge and Innovation Community, Helsinki-Uusimaa Region. 2017-2020.

The climate change crisis calls for a multi-disciplinary approach where the best of business, government and academia join hands. Climate-KIC is an initiative supported by the European Institute of Innovation and Technology, aiming to accelerate the transition to a zero-carbon economy through networks of expertise and cross-pollination. The programme gives experts a chance for education in the Systems Innovation approach and a 4 to 6 week work placement in an organisation in another country. Finnish organisations get a possibility to train their experts and receive foreign experts.

Tyrsky acted as local manager of the Pioneers into Practice exchange programme in 2017–2020 in partnership with the Helsinki-Uusimaa Regional Council. The facilitation and negotiation company, Akordi, provided the Pioneers’ training workshops in 2018–2019. In 2020, workshops were facilitated by Osana.
