Carolina Grönberg

Carolina Grönberg (MSc) is an expert in marine biology and environmental governance. She has conducted interdisciplinary research combining the fields of biology, governance, and sustainability studies, addressing wicked problems such as climate change. In her master’s thesis, she examined how environmental governance, the ecosystem approach, and ocean literacy influence the management of marine biodiversity in Finland at both local and national political levels. Carolina also holds a bachelor’s degree in environmental and marine biology, with a minor in sustainable development. She is particularly interested in marine biodiversity and managing the impacts of climate change. Additionally, Carolina is fluent in Swedish, Finnish and English.
