Petra Egilmez

Petra Egilmez has a background in agricultural and forestry sciences (M.Sc., Agronomist). Additionally, she has completed a Bachelor’s degree in Natural Resources Management focusing on environmental management. Petra has extensive experience in agricultural research, including crop yield formation, nutrient management, and soil fertility. She has conducted doctoral research on soil remediation from heavy metals by using bioenergy crops. Petra’s strengths include looking at things from many different perspectives and in a multidisciplinary way. Nature and environmental conservation, biodiversity, ecology, sustainable development, and adaptation to changing climate conditions are important themes for Petra, and she has gained related professional experience. She has been involved in projects such as implementing nutrient balance projects for farms in eutrophicated lake areas or assessing the biodiversity of traditional biotopes for agricultural special support.
