Survey of business and RDI activities connected to climate change adaptation, the natural environment, and ecological compensation

The goal of the survey was to increase knowledge and understanding of business, financing, and RDI (Research, Development, and Innovation) activities connected to the clean natural environment, climate change adaptation, ecological compensation, and natural value markets in the Helsinki metropolitan area, and to examine the development of the markets for these themes and future business opportunities until the year 2035.

We implemented the project together with Matter Advisory Oy. We conducted information retrieval and interviews, produced an analysis, developed two different future scenarios, and identified opportunities and produced recommendations for action for Business Helsinki concerning each examined theme and related actors.
