Survey of solar park operators in Finland

The purpose of the project was to map out the most significant industrial-scale solar power plant operators functioning in Finland and to share information about the “Renewable Energy from Peatlands and Fields” (ATSOL) project, which promotes renewable energy production in North Ostrobothnia.

We mapped the solar operators by identifying the types of operators and the operators at different stages of the value chain. We organized cooperation discussions with the key operators identified in the mapping, where we deepened the information collected in the mapping through interviews and presented the ATSOL project.

We compiled the results of the mapping into a report, in which we described the roles and the nature of cooperation among the value chain actors, the themes that emerged during the discussions, as well as the conclusions and recommendations for the ATSOL project’s continuing work.
